La Premier League gioca un lungo tredicesimo turno che ci regala qualche sorpresa. L’Arsenal si ferma in casa del Southampton e vede ridurre il suo vantaggio. Il Manchester City batte infatti il Brighton e ne approfitta per portarsi a – 2. Il Newcastle trionfa in casa del Tottenham e vola in zona Champions grazie al pari fra Chelsea e Manchester United. Vittoria importante per il Fulham a Leeds, il Liverpool perde ancora a Nottingham. L’Everton as falta il Crystal Palace, Aston Villa a valanga sul Brentford. Il Leicester City espugna il campo del Wolverhampton, bene il West Ham sul Bournemouth.
