Ecco tutti i risultati della trentottesima giornata di Premier League 2022/23 e la classifica finale. Villa in Conference, Leicester retrocesso
Si chiude una entusiasmante stagione di Premier League con la trentottesima giornata. Il Manchester City campione chiude con una sconfitta di misura a Brentford in preparazione alle due finali. L’Arsenal termina la stagione con una manita al Wolverhampton, bene il Manchester United con il Fulham. Il Newcastle impatta in casa del Chelsea e termina quarto, dietro il Liverpool che fa 4-4 sul campo del Southampton. L’Aston Villa supera il Brighton e si prende la Conference, il Tottenham annienta il Leeds ma è fuori dall’Europa. I Whites invece retrocedono in Championship insieme al Leicester City che batte il West Ham ma il successo dell’Everton con il Bournemouth li condanna. Infine termina in parità la sfida senza nulla da giocarsi fra Crystal Palace e Nottingham Forest.
Il Manchester City conquista così il titolo d’Inghilterra e giocherà in Champions League assieme a Arsenal, Manchester United e Newcastle. Liverpool e Brighton giocheranno la prossima Europa League, l’Aston Villa invece la Conference League. Retrocedono in Championship Leicester City, Leeds United e Southampton. Erling Braut Haaland del Man City vince la classifica marcatori (e probabilmente la Scarpa d’oro) con 36 gol. Secondo termina Harry Kane del Tottenham con 30, terzo Iván Toney del Brentford con 20. Momo Salah è quarto con 19 gol, Wilson si ferma a 18, sesto Rashford con 17 poi il terzetto Odegaard, Martinelli e Watkins a 15 reti.
