Il Liverpool supera infatti il West Ham ad Anfield rimanendo in corsa. Il Chelsea sotterra il Burnley, l’Arsenal fa fuori il Watford e prende il quarto posto. Il Tottenham si rilancia e ne fa 5 ad un Everton in pericolo, cade il Wolverhampton in casa con il Crystal Palace. L’Aston Villa distrugge il Southampton in casa, il Leicester City supera il Leeds. Toney trascina il Brentford con il Norwich City, successo importante per il Newcastle con il Brighton in zona retrocessione.
