Un weekend molto interessante di Premier League con la sesta giornata. Il Manchester United piega l’Arsenal che perde i primi punti ma resta in testa. Il Manchester City non riesce infatti ad approfittarne facendosi stoppare in casa dell’Aston Villa. Vince invece il Tottenham nel derby londinese contro il Fulham, stessa sorte per il Chelsea sul West Ham. Il Liverpool impatta senza reti nel derby contro l’Everton, successo roboante del Brighton sul Leicester. Il Brentford straccia il Leeds, bene i Wolves sul Southampton. Finisce in parità fra Newcastle e Crystal Palace, il Bournemouth espugna Nottingham.
